Eat Seasonably

Photo: Apples are ready at Pickering Road Community Orchard (1/8/17).

At the Freedom FEASTival on 3rd September we’ll be eating local fruit and veg that has travelled the minimum of food miles to get to your plate, you might even be eating something  just a stone’s throw from where it grew! (If it came from the Wilson Bed that is) So being locally grown – it’s got to be seasonal, and we think that’s important.

Can you suggest any local dishes that can be cooked up for the Freedom Feastival on 3rd September in Queen’s Gardens? If so, get in touch  hello@hullharvestfeastival.org.uk

See below for seasonal UK, fruit & veg, dishes and ideas. Click on the photos for more information, you don’t need Facebook to view them.
